Tis the Season for Setups
Subtitle: When your parents need a dating app, but you decide to become the algorithm.
Lexi is a professional party planner who heads to a ski resort for Christmas with her mother and teenage daughter. Naturally, she immediately clashes with Ridge, a handsome ski instructor. But rather than simply admitting they're attracted to each other, the two decide their parents should date. Because nothing says holiday fun quite like turning your family vacation into a matchmaking operation.
Unfortunately, their romantic setups keep turning into group dates, proving that even the most organized event planner can't control the guest list—or Cupid's questionable scheduling decisions. Before long, Lexi and Ridge discover that while they've been busy arranging everyone else's happily-ever-after, they might have accidentally planned one for themselves.
It's a cozy combination of snowy scenery, family meddling, and predictable romantic detours. Classic Hallmark movies territory, where the biggest holiday emergency isn't a snowstorm but two attractive people refusing to admit they like each other. And as Hallmark holiday movies go, this one proves that sometimes the best Christmas gift is finding love... preferably without your mother having to supervise the first date.
