A Family Christmas Gift (2019): Deck the Halls with Unrealistic Career Goals

If you’re looking for a Christmas movie that combines a sassy diva, a family heirloom mansion, and more baked goods than a bakery clearance sale, A Family Christmas Gift delivers like Santa on a turbo-charged sleigh. This Hallmark movie has it all: over-the-top holiday cheer, predictable romance, and Patti LaBelle singing her heart out because, let’s face it, she’s the queen of everything.

The movie follows Amber (Holly Robinson Peete), a workaholic journalist who visits her Aunt Dora (Patti LaBelle) for the holidays, only to be hit with a wave of family and Christmas spirit so strong it could knock over a fully decorated tree.
