An Unexpected Christmas is Hallmark’s love letter to the time-honored rom-com tradition of pretending to be a couple, only to, surprise surprise, actually fall in love. The story kicks off when Jamie (Tyler Hynes), a workaholic speechwriter, runs into his ex, Emily (Bethany Joy Lenz), at a train station.
