"Hallmark Movies Go Wild—Literally!"

If you’ve ever watched Hallmark movies and thought, This could use more elephants, then Love on Safari is the cinematic safari you never knew you needed. Forget small-town bakeries and snow-covered Christmas tree farms—this time, Hallmark holiday movies (minus the holiday) take us on a romantic adventure through the African wilderness, where love is in the air and, presumably, so are a few mosquitoes.

Lacey Chabert, the reigning queen of Hallmark movies, plays Kira, a city girl with a predictable life (and an equally predictable boyfriend) who unexpectedly inherits a safari lodge in South Africa. As all Hallmark heroines do, she arrives with zero interest in staying, but then—surprise!—there’s a rugged, kindhearted conservationist named Tom who just happens to look like he walked off the cover of an adventure novel. As Kira attempts to decide whether to sell the lodge or embrace the hakuna matata life, romance blossoms amid breathtaking landscapes, adorable baby animals, and just enough mild conflict to keep things interesting (but never stressful—this is still Hallmark, after all).

There’s no snow, no Christmas trees, and no small-town mayor who also moonlights as Santa. But what Love on Safari lacks in typical Hallmark holiday movies charm, it makes up for with zebras, sunset horseback rides, and an elephant who is 100% on board with Kira and Tom’s romance. Seriously, if an elephant supports your love story, it’s basically fate.

Final Verdict:
If you love Hallmark movies but wish they came with more breathtaking scenery and fewer snowstorms, this is the rom-com for you. Love on Safari proves that true love can happen anywhere—even in the middle of a wildlife reserve with spotty Wi-Fi.
