Review

When holiday romance comes with a countdown... and a lot of festive chaos.

In On the Twelfth Day of Christmas, Brooke Nevin stars as a woman who gets an unexpected gift—a 12-day holiday romance challenge. Cue Robin Dunne as the reluctant man who’s just trying to survive Christmas without accidentally falling in love. As expected from a Hallmark holiday movie, these two begin their holiday "challenge" with more awkward moments than you'd find in a snowstorm, but hey, it's a Christmas miracle waiting to happen.

The plot is as predictable as the arrival of snow on Christmas Eve, but what makes this movie a must-watch is the delightful blend of festive mishaps, heartfelt moments, and the sheer joy of watching characters pretend they’re not falling in love. It’s got all the Hallmark magic: holiday activities, cozy scenes, and just the right amount of Christmas chaos. In the end, the only thing more predictable than the romance is that you'll be grinning from ear to ear, wondering how you ever lived without the 12 days of Christmas... or at least without the 12 days of laughter.
