Isabella (Jen Lilley) is a hardworking Oregon winemaker (because in Hallmark Land, women either run cozy small-town businesses or work high-powered corporate jobs they’ll soon abandon for love). When she gets the chance to compete in a prestigious Parisian wine competition, she hops on a plane and quickly finds herself up against Jacques (Dan Jeannotte), a devastatingly handsome French winemaker who probably smells like fresh baguettes and expensive cologne. Naturally, they start off as rivals, exchanging just enough flirtatious banter over grape varietals before realizing—gasp!—they might actually be perfect for each other.

While not one of your typical Hallmark holiday movies (no mistletoe, but plenty of fairy-tale Paris scenery), it still delivers all the Hallmark movies magic: a strong-willed heroine, a charming love interest with an accent, and at least one slow-motion moment of someone swirling a wine glass while contemplating their feelings. Will Isabella win the competition and Jacques’s heart? Will there be a spontaneous romantic stroll through Paris? Do you even have to ask?
