If you’ve ever watched Hallmark Channel movies and thought, This needs more book signings and accidental romance, then Winter Love Story is your perfect cozy read—err, watch. It’s got all the best Hallmark ingredients: a charming heroine, an irresistibly handsome leading man, and enough wintery small-town charm to make you want to curl up with a good book (and possibly a hot cocoa-filled love story of your own).

Cassie (Jen Lilley) is a newly published author who’s a teensy bit terrified of public speaking (same, girl). But lucky for her (and for us), she’s paired up for a book tour with bestselling author Elliot (Kevin McGarry), who is charming, confident, and—of course—unexpectedly swoon-worthy. As they travel from town to town, braving snowy roads, bookstore events, and just the right amount of romantic tension, sparks begin to fly. Will Cassie overcome her fear of public speaking and realize that love was right in front of her all along? Obviously.

Though not one of your classic Hallmark holiday movies (no Christmas trees, but plenty of picturesque snowfall), this one still delivers all the feel-good, heartwarming vibes we expect from Hallmark movies. There’s banter, bookish charm, and at least one moment where someone gazes wistfully into the wintery distance while contemplating their feelings.
