Description
Audrey Bell is a successful globe-trotting pop-up restaurateur who returns to her hometown for Thanksgiving, only to discover that her late grandfather's beloved bowling alley, Wonderlanes, is about to be sold. Rather than let the family landmark disappear without a proper send-off, Audrey decides to stay for one final festive season and revive its traditional Winter Wonderlanes youth bowling tournament. To generate publicity, she reluctantly teams up with Jason Miller, a local news reporter and her former high school boyfriend. As they work together to save the tournament, old feelings resurface and Audrey must decide whether her next adventure lies somewhere across the globe or right where her heart has always been.

Audrey Bell is a globe-trotting restaurateur who returns to her hometown for the holidays, only to discover that her late grandfather's beloved bowling alley, Wonderlanes, is about to be sold. Naturally, she decides the best way to save it is to revive the annual youth bowling tournament. Because nothing says financial stability like putting all your hopes in a group of teenagers wearing rented bowling shoes.
To help generate publicity, Audrey teams up with Jason, a local news reporter and her former high school boyfriend. Between holiday festivities, bowling balls, and conveniently resurfacing romantic feelings, the two discover that maybe the only thing better than a perfect strike is a second chance at love. Although, judging by their history, someone might want to check the scoreboard.
Winter Wonderlanes delivers all the familiar ingredients of Hallmark movies: small-town nostalgia, festive decorations, and two people who apparently needed a bowling tournament to figure out they're still interested in each other. It's a charming reminder that Hallmark holiday movies can turn just about any activity into a romantic adventure—even one involving questionable footwear, gutter balls, and a Christmas miracle at the local bowling alley.
