Love to the Rescue
Where Adopting a Dog Also Adopts You a Soulmate!"
If you love Hallmark Channel movies that mix romance, adorable kids, and a very good dog, then Love to the Rescue is your next must-watch. Because in Hallmark movies, the quickest way to true love is through co-parenting a rescue pup!
Kate (Nikki DeLoach) and Eric (Michael Rady) are two single parents who both want to adopt the same rescue dog for their kids (because obviously, there’s only one perfect dog left in this entire town). The solution? A shared custody agreement (for the dog, not the kids). Naturally, as they trade off pup-parenting duties, sparks start flying, and before you know it, they’re bonding over dog walks, puppy playdates, and just enough accidental hand-touching to keep things interesting.
While this isn’t one of your traditional Hallmark holiday movies (no Christmas trees, but plenty of heartfelt moments and wagging tails), it still delivers everything we love about Hallmark movies: small-town charm, slow-burn romance, and a four-legged matchmaker who clearly knows exactly what’s going on. Will Kate and Eric realize they belong together before the dog figures it out first? Absolutely.
Final Verdict:
If you love Hallmark Channel movies and believe that puppy adoption should come with a side of romance, Love to the Rescue is the heartwarming, tail-wagging rom-com for you. Just be warned—you may start considering adopting a dog just in case it leads to true love! 🐶💕🏡
