If you love Hallmark Channel movies that feature romance, small-town charm, and way too many cute puppies, then Love Unleashed is about to wag its way straight into your heart. Because in Hallmark movies, nothing brings people together quite like a strategically placed fluffy, tail-wagging matchmaker.

Hailey (Jen Lilley) is an energetic, dog-loving event planner who runs a puppy party business (because of course she does—this is Hallmark Land, where dream jobs are real). When she meets Ryan (Christopher Russell), a handsome-but-overly-serious single dad whose daughter just so happens to adore puppies, Hailey takes it upon herself to not only introduce them to the joys of dog ownership but also totally fall for Ryan in the process. Will Hailey’s puppy playdates melt Ryan’s no-pets policy? Will a conveniently timed adoption event lead to both a four-legged and two-legged love connection? Will a dog do something ridiculously cute right before the big romantic moment? (Do you even have to ask?)

While this isn’t one of your typical Hallmark holiday movies (no Christmas trees, but plenty of adorable puppy montages), it still delivers all the Hallmark movies magic: a free-spirited heroine, a slightly stubborn love interest who clearly just needs a push (or a puppy), and at least one scene where a dog conveniently runs off—forcing the leads into a romantic chase scene.
